To celebrate the release of the new Minecraft movie, McDonald’s has announced new themed toys featuring characters from the game.
Contrary to what it might seem, the toys won’t be available in the Happy Meal, but instead in a new exclusive combo that includes nine nuggets, fries, a drink, and a new McFlurry with sour apple pie flavor.
Each combo will come with a limited edition collectible item, which can be anything from a Grimace Egg, a Zombie Hamburglar, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, a Soda Potion, or a Big Mac Crystal.
As if that wasn’t enough, the fast-food chain will also introduce the new spicy sauce Nether Flame Sauce. With a thematic purple color, the sauce consists of crushed red chili mixed with a little garlic.
Since kids also love Minecraft, parents don’t need to worry. McDonald’s will also launch a Happy Meal with a similar theme to delight the little ones.
A Minecraft Movie, starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, will premiere in early April in theaters. “A mysterious portal pulls four misfits into Overworld, a wondrous, bizarre, and cubic land that thrives on imagination,” says the synopsis.
